solidworks cosmoxpress help

hey guys I m trying to do a stiffness test with solidworks, I m selecting the material the restraints and the load but the result is crazy, maybe you can imagine with this values, its just a 100mmx100mm aluminium 7075 frame, I m applyng the force 196.33 N from the top surfaces and fixing the frame from screw places and bottom surface but the deformation is crayz! the safety factor that I integrate is 1.37. Is there some problems with the program or am I doing sth wrong, but this is maybe 50th try with other objects also the result deformation is crazy! please help me

Do you mean the literal results, or the delibrately exaggerated view?

They do that so you can actually see the deformation. I was prepared for it the first time I ever saw it either.

so it is not a problem if a present my final report with this fancy visual

SWx does that so that you can visualize where the deformations take place. Otherwise you might miss a .010 deformation somewhere. I believe they are set at a percent of scale, and can be adjusted. The actual numbers should be correct...or at least in the ballpark.

I too was shocked the first time I used it and didn't take into account that it is applying a huge scaling factor. Unfortunately that isn't something you can change in the express version.

You should pay attention to the legend instead of the displayed deformation. To be honest I find the deformation to be pretty useless. I always use the legend, or more accurately the contour.
