SolidWorks 2008 SP2.1 Color

Why are all my components in my assemblies so dark? When I insert a part, it changes to a dull color. When look at them dead on they are a clear bright color, but when I do an isometric view, everything looks dull.

2007 was fine, i did not have to make any adjustments, but i'm new to 2008, and still trying to adjust.

Real view is not on. Real view makes it much worse
