I am using our models to import into our product manuals. I've been successful for the last several weeks saving the models as high quality PDFs and or Printing to PDF using high quality and a larger paper size all this has worked and i've been able to use these images in Photoshop for print. However just today every time I save or print the models the resolution is highly degraded. I've gone through all the steps over and over again and i can't seem to figure out how to fix this problem.

Please help.

I just unloaded all my administrivia onto a second computer, leaving the good one for CAD only.

Unfortunately, my IT guy moved Acrobat Pro to the auxiliary computer, so I can no longer 'print to' a PDF. The difference is like night and day. Solidworks' 'save as pdf' doesn't do nearly as nice a job.

Worse, some sheets of multisheet drawings come out drawn with a pen like a dull Sharpie; just the one sheet, for no reason I can find.

I am seriously underwhelmed with SW's performance in this regard.

( My IT guy promised to restore Acrobat to where I really need it, Real Soon Now.... )

When saving as a PDF, make sure the High Quality setting is selected in the Options.
