Hi
can anyone tell me how to include a picture of my part in a drawing file? I find this to be a great help for those that can't think in 3d.
I usually print off a seperate sheet and attach it, i am trying to conserve paper these days, and a smaller picture included right on the drawing page would solve this problem.

Thanks

Gerry

Ahh perhaps the version i am using does not allow this, i see the shaded icon but cannot use it in a drawing.
SW 2001 SP3

Thanks, any other way around this?

Gerry

You could save the model as an image file and insert it on the drawing as an OLE object, but upgrading might be a better option. DimensionalSolutions@Core.com

You need to upgrade to SW01+ SP3 for shaded views in drawings.

You can also go to tools\add-ins and check jpeg files. This allows you to save it is a jpeg file.

Hi,

Just use Ctrl + C to copy the picture and Ctrl + V to paste it in the drawing.

It's easier and works very well.

I hope it can helps.
