if we have a wps qualified with open butt pipe ,do we need to requalify WPS to use "solar flux" backing .(I don't think so but would like comments). Also if welder is qualified to the open butt procedure he should be qualified to weld same procedure with "solar flux" . make ulgy welds usally fails due to root sugar(oxidantion).
