Does anyone have leads on software packages for modeling ballistic projectiles or "vehicles" (implying something more complex than a projectile, like a UAV for example)?

In particular I am interested in:

- porous drag components - chutes, ballutes, trailing strips, etc.
- non-axisymmetric mass, geometry.

Thrust systems should be handled, controllable guidance fins would be nice.

"Outputs" I would like to see include aerodynamic and stability properties, 6DOF trajectory simulation.

Many thanks!

Have you looked at CFD packages?
