Hello everyone,

For the last year we have been using AMETank for the evaluation of 620 tanks (we do inspection and mechanical integrity evaluations, so our main interest is minimum required thickness for shell and heads/roof/floors). Our 1 year license has expired, and we are evaluating whether or not to renew. The software works pretty well, however it doesn't do tanks that have transitions (conical shell courses). At best it does cone bottoms. Probably half of the 620 tanks we encounter have transitions in the shell, so this software limitation is pretty significant for us.

Does anyone have experience with software that can do 620 calcs on tanks with shell transitions?

Thanks

Why not build your own calculation in Mathcad or similar (or maybe even excel)?

MFJewell,
That's the way to go!!!
