Smart Component rebuild and file size

Has anybody seen anything that would suggest that the file size or rebuild time of a smart component is higher/larger than the dumb component it was made from?

I haven't seen or read anything about it, but it would be logical that it is larger because of the extra information it holds.

Are you noticing a large difference? Are you sure it isn't just the usual SW/Windows bloat?

Honestly I'm noticing no measureable difference. But so far my Smart Components have been relatively simple. I just wanted to see if anybody had any experience with large or complicated Smart Components.
