Is there a way to remove sediment from a small pond 2 ac, only need to remove about 1 ac 2-3' deep that does not disturb the surrounding habitat as would an excavator and is not as large as the floating barge, dredges? This may need to be done every few years.

A small floating suction dredge, perhaps? Do you have space for a settling pond, recognizing that the sediments will bulk considerably and may not settle/consolidate quickly (especially if clayey)?

Best regards,
DRG
