Hi,
A 4'' nom. dia. piping has high propability of slug flow and the current support shall be redesigned. I was thinking to put a fix support or a hydraulic shock absorber damper device at the end of a long horizontal section.
Normally, when you design pressure piping (ASME B31.3) including a slug flow possibility, what kind of support are you using to be sure to keep the piping on the pipe rack and not overstress it when the slug flow will occur?
