How to model sloped column in ETABS? not as brace.

By default, any member that is not in the XZ or YZ plane is considered a brace. It can be designed as a column, but internally ETABS will call it a brace.

I have previously defined columns in section designer with a few reinforcing patters and column strength and during design checked the column for strength using the interaction curves generated.

Hmm the design is back to the manual check then.
It's very stressful for seismic large problem.

It is not a manual check. You define reinforcing pattern in section designer and let the program check it.

XFEM,

What is a good example of a structure that has a sloped column?

In any ways, my idea is to get the forces and manually design it using any spreadsheet available. Ignore the description of etabs as a brace.
