Suppose i slice a solid and then would want to delete that slice or partition i created. how do i do it? all i could find was delete>solid because delete curve does not work.Thanks.

With which Pre-processing tools to slice or partition a solid (Patran, Femap, I-deas, Hypermesh or others)?

I don't understand what you mean.

You have a solid and slice it, giving you two solids. Now you can delete one of them with "delete - solid" as mentioned, or "delete" one of them with "solid - add" turning them back into one solid again.

Is there a third option I don't see?

Regards

Thomas

As Thomas said, just use "solid>add" to add the two split volumes into one that you slice before.
