Slab Placement Above Column Splice

I received a question from the Contractor regarding his slab pour sequence on a 6 story steel building. His subcontractors are concerned about placing concrete above a column splice before the lower floors are in place.

The building has been plumbed, the braced frames are complete, and I cant seem to find an engineering reason not to do it. Also, there are no light gage walls in place.

While I understand this is a "means and methods" question, does this throw up a red flag to anyone else?

Global buckling needs to be prevented. This may mean not only the 3 planes in C in every story to hard points but less frequently seen "cube" diagonals in the stories under the new load. Solidarity and integrity of the formwork itself and at the joints needs be able to sustain some degree of out of plumbness plus the lateral loads expected during construction, with some allowance for impact. This instance should be analyzed in a model by some competent structural designer, for a construction time safety factor, with P-Delta and P-delta included at the factored level.

Particular care needs be taken to failure at the joints forming kinked joint leading to loss of structural geometry.
