Sizing Up a Suitable Centrifugal Compressor

Mates,

I would like to seek your expertise in assisting us how could we size up a suitable centrifugal compressor for our upcoming project.
The field parameter will be varying over 16 years period. The expected field parameter is as below:

0-6 year
175MMscfd​
420-870psia
85 deg F
7-10 year
51-145MMscfd​
270-420psia
85 deg F
10-16 year
15-50MMscfd​
270/145psia
85 deg F

The gas consists 98% methane.

What would be the suitable sizing as our clients is requesting for 2x50% operation with a spare location for 3rd compressor
in future. Recycling is allowed.

Compressing to what pressure on the outlet?

Whatever the answer is, the range of flows and pressures is such that you will not be able to undertake this with any single machine or 2 x 50% without either grossly oversizing it or running at a very inefficient manner.

Your options are probably to size the initial machine for the start (peak flow) and then gradually either re-wheel the machine to add stages ( with intercoolers) or re-wheel or add upstream booster compressors with coolers once the main machine exceeds its operating window.
