take a typ. instrument air package compressor receiver dryer upstream of compressor is a filter and then there are pre filters before and after filters after the dryer
what have you found to be effective micron sizes for these three services?
if the compressor inlet is say x microns, the pre-filter shoud be less than x say y, and after filter less than y. obviously, the reduction would not be in any specified proportion
