I would like to know the reason for using a CO2 filter in the vent opening of a Demineralized water storage tank and what the difference is between a CO2 fitler and CO2 scrubber.

Also when is it a good option to use N2 blanketing instead of a CO2 fitler?

Any suggestions on possible suppliers for CO2 fitlers?

Please explain what a "CO2 filter" is .... Najeeb

I have never heard of such a thing and I am very apprehensive that I am talking to someone without a background in fundamental electro-chemistry ...

Can you be a little

The link is about removing CO2 from the water, not the air.

In this instance I don't think there is a difference between filter and scrubber. Basically both aim to remove CO2 from the air passing through them.

I'm surprised that you would allow O2 to be in contact if the waste is that susceptible to CO2, but maybe that's all that is required. It's all about the purity requirements for the water.
