I am to copy an existing e-stop circuit to a new project. I'm not sure about some of the existing design details. Can I use a standard momentary pushbutton with a mushroom head as an e-stop into a safety relay? I think the relay would still actuate correctly if one N.C. pushbutton contact would weld close. If 2 would weld close would that be considered a single component failure or two? My initial reaction is to replace the pushbutton with a maintained position one. I would configure the relay for manual, monitored, reset
