Single assemble

How can we create assembly part in to single file with out any parts in part tree?

RMC on the left corner of your parts list then go to Edit Levels and see if those toggles will do what you want.

Are you asking how to create an 'Assembly' but have all the geometry from what would have been the Components included in the same SINGLE Part file? If so, then, at least as far as NX is concerned, this would NOT be an Assembly. Why are you asking about something like this?

I need single part file with out any sub assemblies in the tree when we have sub assemblies in the tree...

I really think what I mentioned previously pertaining to Edit Levels will do what you need.

I think we need to first clarify exactly what you mean by a 'part tree'. Jerry is assuming that you're talking about the Parts List note. Is that correct or are you talking about something else, like perhaps the Assembly Navigator?

OK, please explain a bit more as to WHY you're attempting to create this NON-Assembly 'assembly'? What purpose or benefit do you expect to gain by doing this? Or are you simply wanting to learn more about how to manage what is presented in the Assembly Navigator versus actually making changes to the Assembly file itself?

I just want to know whether it is possible or not. Can we create assembly part(parts in assembly navigator) in to single part(with out any parts in navigator) by using any option like export parasolid? or any thing else?

Wave link the bodies, then remove their parameters. You can then delete the components and have a "dumb" assembly.

Ok it is not my post but let me give you a scenario where we use File -> Export -> Part to achieve what is being asked here. We download or are delivered a solid model of a part from a supplier. We have an internal part number established for this suppliers "Assembly". Our part number/documentation defines the entire assembly, we don't care about the subcomponents in the assembly. So in our soon to be PLM integration we will want this part to exist as a single part file which will be a document tied to the material in PLM. We don't want to have a bunch of extra documents to create and manage in PLM to represent the subcomponents in the assembly as those are non value added items to us. Make sense? Is there some better method or practice we should be following in this case? A recent example is for an Ethernet connector that we purchase that goes on a PCB. Suppliers model is an assembly. Had like 4 components. I just want a single piece part for the whole connector.

It appears that you have opened the parasolid file directly by using the file -> open dialog and changing the filter to parasolid files (.x_t). This will result in the parasolid file unpacking any components it has into individual files and adding them to the assembly navigator. If, instead of using File -> open to open the parasolid file, you use file -> import -> parasolid to import it into a new or existing part file, all the "components" will be interpreted as bodies and will show up in the part navigator rather than the assembly navigator.
