simulationxpress fails on this combined body

I did a combine of a channel, tried constraining on the ends of the C channel and then putting 300 lbs on the pad at the end of the 2x2. Just looking for deflection. simulationxpress bombs every time I try ....

I just did a new install on a new pc going with solidworks 2015, my old 2014 sp5 seemed to work just fine ......
