Simulate contact interface

Hello Everyone,

I'm a newbie to FEA analysis and started using Creo simulate. I am struggling with defining interface for a snap design. Creo is not letting me define interface between the wires which are not connected initially I think. What should be the approach for this analysis?

Attaching a picture of the model. Please help!
