Hello, I would like to start a new home project concerning servos.
I am planning to build a downsized project like this. I actually already built one cosisting of 9 mirrors (but It failed because of lack of precision components. Anyway, I would like to build another moving mirror, this time front in a shape of a rectangle, let's say 60cm x 40cm, so 6 squres x 4 squares.
Is there a mechanism that can transmit a movement along one axis with multiple outputs. Let's say that I want one servomechanism to controll 12 squares/mirrors (like in the project below) along with one axis to reduce cost of using more servos?
I will most likely 3d print those modules/transmittions or use prebuild metal ones. Do you know a mechanism that I can read that would help me?
Many thanks!

Eng-Tips is really a forum for work-related engineering discussions, rather than home projects.

You'll probably get more interest on our sister-site Make:Projects.

See you over there.

A.
