Hello Everyone,

I am currently modelling a pipe connection and as a part of the loading, an internal pressure is applied. I am applying this internal pressure via both Loads-->Pressure AND Interactions-->Pressure Penetration.

My question is regarding which surfaces to apply the Loads-->Pressure to? If a surface is included in my Pressure Penetration interaction, should I keep it in the Pressure Load, or will this cause the pressure to double on that surface?

I hope this makes sense, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I figured it out,

It turns out that the pressure load is doubled on those surfaces with both the pressure load and the pressure penetration, so ensure that only one of the above is applied to each surface in order to obtain appropriate loading.
