Simple Pressure Vessel Analysis

Hi i am trying to do an analysis of a simple spherical pressure vessel and am just wondering the best way to do it. It is just a simple sphere with a given wall thickness to contain a given internal gas pressure.

Carry out an analysis of just a 1/8 segment, since the sphere is symmetrical. In Mechanica use the 'symmetry' constraint, one for each cut surface. Apply the pressure load to the inner face and you will be able to confirm thick-walled pressure vessel theory when you look at your results.
