Hi
I have a silo for 150 tons of sand (11-9" diameter and 28'-0" high)
How or were can I find a guid for silo design? I suppose to design the structure for this system ( beams and colns)
Please let me know wher in the web I can look for guid.
Thanks

In the US one at hand reference may be

Structural Engineering Handbook 4th ed
Gaylord, Gaylord, Stallmeyer
Mc Graw Hill

Section 28

IN Spain the same code for loads NBE AE-88 has basic information for silo design.
Also has the popular Jiménez Montoya book on reinforced concrete, I think.

If u r familiar with BS8110, than look for Structural Engineering Design in Practice, Roger Westbrook,Construction Press.
It has a blueprint of Silo design for begginers.

For those of unfamiliar with BS8110, where do we find the book you mentioned. I looked for a Construction Press on the web. No luck with any search engine.
