Hi guys,
I'm a junior engineer designing a kind of industrial shower head nozzle for water.
I wonder how to calculate optimal nozzle dimensions given pressure drop/flow rate.
I'd like to make or find an excel spreadsheet to do this.
DO I simply calculate as if I'm designing a single orifice and then divide the area by the number of holes?
I'm concerned that this doesn't take into account the varying amounts of drag caused by the different surface area numbers for the holes.
Please help!
Thanks
