Shorter Nozzle than API 650 requirement

Hi Folks,
We have hydro tested an API 650 tank and now thinking of cutting a nozzle length for shipping purpose, Is there a way we can extend it back to original length later on without a hydro test again.
Relevant clause in API 650 is
Per API 650 section 7.3.5, "after completion of the hydro-test, only non-structural small attachments may be welded to the tank in accordance with 7.2.1.11."
