Hi All,
I’m designing a storm drain system for a 3 acre riverfront site in Florida.
The site is currently 4 residential lots that will be consolidated and converted to a commercial boat storage facility.
The river side of the site will be built up on fill and retained with perimeter sheet pile.
Drainage for half of the site drains to an underground chamber system located in the fill adjacent to the sheet pile wall. The system is designed to match existing outflow to the river.
The thought is to connect an outlet control structure to the chambers and install drain pipe penetrations through the sheet pile. Outflow invert would be 1’ above the 100 year flood elevation.
One idea considered is using the jet filter system as an outflow. Perhaps connecting several with a manifold.
Does anyone have experience with drain pipe penetrations through sheet pile? Or with the jet filter system in general?
