Shear Wall Design, Pier Shear Exceed! 1

I am doing Shear wall design using ETABS for erathquake analysis model. In one of the floors I received a error said that the "Pier Shear Exceed the maximum allowed" How should I eliminate the problem?

How can I define horizental reinforcment for the hsear wall when I am doing general reinforcing pier sections!?

If pier shear exceeded, you probably have more shear than 10 sqrt fc'. What is the wall thickness/length and what is the ultimate shear on the wall pier?

Sometimes having a large moment will also cause shear problems, ie, the wall pier can be in tension due to moment and not have enough gravity load to counter it.

the etabs give,the maximum ratio of flexural design=2%,you can chang it,But this ratio is giving from UBC code.
