I have a spreadsheet that was created in Excel 97 and now I have opened it and modified in Excel 2002. The spreadsheet had several equation objects which now appear upside down. Has anyone experienced this and how would these be rotated back?

Not seen this before, but if it the equation is inserted as an object, rather than data or text etc. directly in a cell then, click on the object (or objects) you want to change, bring up the drawing toolbar, click on "draw", then select "rotate or flip", and "flip vertical", or other options as necessary.

the objects are not drawings and won't flip. they are embedded equations. this doesn't work.
