Setting up of Total Station TS02 and Traversing. Please, help:((

Hi,

I am a cart/geo TA and we got this new (at least new to us) TS02 for which I have to write a manual and teach students in 2 weeks, but I have a huge trouble with setting up the station&orientation and traversing.

Any tips/suggestions/ideas/recommendations for a good manual would be highly appreciated.

The most confusing part is, like i wrote above, set up of the station /orientation.

go to any program of the station, example "surveying"- set job- set station- set orientation (coordinates or only angle)
set station- define station piont number and coordinates local or what you have, example: north-5000, east-5000, height-100, and instrument height, than store.
set orientation- from known coordinates, you choose a point from memory or the known coordinates.
orientation by angle reference- set angle to zero at the desire direction or you can live it like it is.
