Selection of Elastomer(material) for API682 seal

can anybody help me for the selection of elastomer of mechanical seal for MDEA solution, temp: 50deg C, pressure, 40 bars(max)

the seal design is as per API682.

You can use EPDM which will be slightly less costly than the alternative, FFKM (perfluoroelastomer). If cost is not a concern, I would recommend Kalrez Spectrum 6375 for this application; I have several seals in this type of service with this grade of perfluoroelastomer and they perform well.

A safe bet for a refinery or other hydrocarbon processing facility is the perfluoroelastomer. EPDM generally swells in the presence of hydrocarbon and can inhibit the movement of seal parts or squeeze brittle parts.
