Selecting Multiple lines

Hi,
I have observed since yesterday that select more than one line at once. When ever I try to select the second line after selecting the first one, it automatically de-selects the first and so on...
Can anyone suggest what went wrong with my AutoCAD.

Go to: tools at the top of your screen
options
selection
de-select use shift to add to selection

Hi,
Go to Tools > Options, click the SELECTION tab and I see if "Use shift to add to selection set" is not checked.
