Section curve problem in NX2

Hi everybody,

I just start to using UG NX2, and I found a problem with the Section Curve. When I try to section a component in an assembly with a plane, I recieve a message like "It wasn't create any section curve". In other words I can't section no one component. Can everybody give me a hand please?

You can't make an associated section on components in an assembly, toggle off "associated ouput" and it will work. If you want an associated section I would use wave or promote the components into the assembly and then make an associated section.

That is the problem! I try to make an non associated section, with the filter on the "Body". If i try to section a face of the component it works, but if I try to select a Body, dosen't work....

Try View -> Operation -> Section...

It will allow you to create section curves which are associative within an assembly.
