I am currently working on a bridge that needs scuppers and I am looking for any direction on the calculations required for sizing, spacing and quantity.

The CalTrans website should have a design example.

It's been a long time since I designed scuppers but it's straight-forward.

Do you have a drainage engineer on your project? Could they assist you?

All you need for this is the FHWA publication on drainage for bridges. Go to the FHWA website and look for the Hydraulic Engineering Circular (HEC).

They have about 5 examples for various conditions and locations.
