Hi
I am looking for suggestions.
I frequently get asked for a recommendation of plugs 35A plus, that can be used on the output of a VFD using EMC screened cable.
Plenty of plugs, but not with suitable screening that transfers through the plug.

Best regards,
Mark

Hi ya Marke!

I frequently work with BIG machining centers that run up to 35HP (25kW) spindle drives. They tend to all use circular milspec Amp or Amphenol connectors. Since those cables were born out of the military and often involved in RF applications those connectors then to address shielding.

Have you tried Patton and Cooke or Cavotec. I'm pretty sure Cavotec has connectors that can maintain full shielding and Patton and Cooke might have something too.
