I am trying to build my own distributin amp as opposed to buying one off the shelf, originally I thought I would just be able to use a run of the mill op amp but ran into trouble when using SPDIF format so have been trying to use video spec op amps like AD829 but with no success due to unnaturally large gain. The circuit's I have come across thus far have all had problems with stability, anyone have any hints on where to get tried schematics for such circuits or where to gain reliable information on this topic. All suggestions greatfully received...

Info - what is the frequency, or range of frequencies you are trying to distribute? What is the impedance you are working with (50 or 75 Ohm)? What is the input signal strength, and desired output signal strength? What kind of signal? (determines desired gain flatness across a frequency range). Thanks

an Audio Precision S1 spits out a level of -20dBFS. this then should feed the distributor which in turn should output the same level to four outputs each having unity gain. The impedance is 50 ohm. Its a regular SPDIF system so is at 1v swing. Hope this helps.
