New guy here. I seem to be able to scale architectural drawings on 8 1/2" x 11" paper but can not scale a simple 60' x 100'
site plan. Drawing reduces to the size of the head of a pin. Do I need to make a print configuration with a paper size change to, say, 11" x 17"? (NOTE: My printer only prints 8 1/2" x 11" paper. Will trickery work?).

There might be a point or node that is causing the problem. Have you tried "Fit to paper size" under Print scale and then "Specify" under Print range and window what you want shown. This should eliminate any extraneous points.
