Hi,

I tried searching the forum for some information on this, but was unsuccessful in finding anything.

I would like to insert a part into an assembly, but scale it to a smaller size. I don't want to re-draw the entire part smaller, and am hoping there is a way to simply scale it a percentage.

Am I missing something obvious?

Thanks!

Tim

Before inserting it in the asm, you need to do the following:

- create a new part
- Insert/Part Copy (browse to the part you want to scale)
- Choose a different scale in the parameters window
- Save with a different name *****_scaled.par for example

Now you can insert this scaled part in your assembly. If your original part is modified, the scaled part will be modified as well (as long as the link is functionnal)

I knew it!

I thought there was something obvious I was missing. Inserting part copies isn't something I find I do often, I hadn't even thought of the scaling option there.

Thanks for the help.
