Head:
material: SB127 UNS N04400
thk (after forming) > 6mm
ID: 305mm
Code: ASME (U stamp)

Question: after COLD forming, shall I need any heat treatment? Normalizing? Which temperature?
Where I can find some information?

Thank you.

No, according to my review of ASME Section VIII, Div 1, Part UCL, specifically UCL-77 and 79.

Sorry but I my ASME Review (2006) UCL stop at 60.
And why UCL ? UCL refers to integral cladding, overlay cladding and linings... and this is not my case.

Maybe you refers to UNF-75 AND 79, but there I can't find any mandatory sentence about n04400.
Could you help me?
Thank you.

Yes, it is UNF not UCL, sorry about the confusion. That is correct, the nonferrous nickel-base alloys with the exception of a few alloys in Table UNF-79 do not need a post forming heat treatment. Are you aware that this material by ASME SB-127 can be supplied in annealed or cold rolled conditions?

Thanks.
The material (plate) was supplied as "hot rolled + soft annealed", is there any results?
Shall I point to my head former supplier something?

No, it's my first experience with nikel alloy.
Thank you for the link.
Now I realized :)
