I have a program that loads data from a delimited file (rows and columns) into a cell array using textscan:
DAT=textscan(fid,'%s%f%f%f%f%f%f%f%f%s%f%f%f%f%f%f',nrows_file_load, 'headerlines', 2, 'delimiter',',');

I modify the first column in DAT and now want to save the modified DATA it to another file as rows and columns in a deliminted ASCII format similar to the original. In other words I want to reverse the textscan function. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dan hi,
I suggest you to use
fid=fopen('data.txt','w')
fprintf(fid,'%s%f%f%f%f%f%f%f%f%s%f%f%f%f%f%f',nrows_file_load, 'headerlines', 2, 'delimiter',',')
fclose(fid)

It should work.

Good luck...
