Hi There,
I have a query, (lets first start with my experience with macros, something comparable to a bull riding a bike). Lets say I have a drawing sheet set that looks like this,
Sheet 1 - Named sheet1
Sheet 2 - Named sheet2
Sheet 3 - Named 1
Sheet 4 - Named sheet3
Sheet 5 - Named 2
All the sheets pull custom properties from the models, no drawing custom properties are used at all.
Is it possible to use a macro (either one separate or a combined macro) to print all the sheets that are named sheetXX (ie sheet names start with a letter) as a PDF named the same as the drawing name (excluding the sheets that start with a number).
And then similar again, but this time save out each sheet that starts with a number as a separate DXF with the file name being equal to a custom property, in this case it would be PRP
artNo, and excluding all the sheets starting with a letter.
Please keep in mind that the custom property is pulled from the part itself ie PRP
artNo@part 'x'
And on top of this the pdfs to be saved in the same directory as the drawing, and the dxf to be saved in the directory as the part.
Too much for my first post???![[bigcheeks] [bigcheeks] [bigcheeks]](/data/assets/smilies/bigcheeks.gif)
Cheers
Oh and if any one has a macro that can could get me a beer from the fridge once I finish work that would be great also![[afro] [afro] [afro]](/data/assets/smilies/afro.gif)
