SAP2000 uniform mesh

Hello
Please any one can you help me to get a uniform mesh like in IMAGE 2 (black mesh). I can only get a mesh like in IMAGE 1 (Red mesh). Please if any one has any idea can you let me know.

Can you manually generate the coordinates of the points in the 'uniform' case? I have used matlab or python to generate nodes and then use SAP spreadsheet input to get them into a model. You also need to understand the convention for creating plates between points and make a spreadsheet of each plate region and its four corner nodes.
 
You'll need to do a lot of manual copying to make that happen.

If these elements have in-plane stresses, then beware using the triangular shell. It is not accurate for that, as explained in the documentation.
 
There is also a way to import shells from an autocad drawing that might work for you.

I disagree that the only method is by manual copy-paste operations.
