Hello all.
I've done the design of a 7 storey RC building with a full model in SAP2000 (version 10), including seismic design. I'm trying to evaluate now the accurateness of the design regarding RC shear-wall forces due to earthquake. I've used section-cuts directly on the response spectrum analysis case, although the results we can view are all positive. Is this correct, I mean, does SAP2000 evaluates these quantities properly? Or do I have to evaluate each modal contribution first and then perform CQC and SRSS manually? Please help!
