dear all

a question about viscous damping in SAP2000

doing a time history analysis, can I take into account cross-coupling terms between modes due to non proportional (non-classical) damping ?

I know SAP2000 accounts for NL coupling, but I don't want to model a hysteretic link, i have a story with a greater amount of linear viscous dissipation than other stories

thanks
