This will be a quick one for you guys, does anyone know of a supplier in the US for sae 1010 bar stock 3/4" dia. (not tubing)?

1010 is not commonly available as bar stock. It is widely available as coiled wire, but not as cut-to-length, straight bars. 1018 and 1020 are the carbon steels with the lowest carbon content that are commonly available as bar stock. Do you absolutely need 1010, or could 1018 or 1020 be suitable alternatives? If you need 1010, then you will need to work with a wire or bar supplier and see what they can offer, maybe a smaller portion of a larger coil or bundle.

Kreher Steel Company lists 1010 bar stock on their product list, but only as small as 1.25" dia. You could try giving them a call.

AISI numbers (ie. 1010) are the most basic from of steel ID. Use some specs like ASTM if you product has any performance requirements.
