Experts,

I cannot find stress values for SA-249 UNS N08367 in Section II Part D.

Am I just overlooking them or are they really not there?

I have found them for SB-676 UNS N08367.

Thanks in advance,
numberfive

There is no stress line for N08367 under SA 249.

This is an odball material that is classified as ferrous in some specs and non-ferrous in others.

So although SA-249 N08367 may be commercially available, you must use SB-676 (for example) for Sec VIII, Div 1.

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

SnTMan,

This is exactly what we have found.

The customer supplied tubes (for use in a Sec. VIII, Div. 1 vessel repair) are marked and supplied with an MTR as being dual rated SA-249 / SB-676 N08367.

We will proceed and document as SB-676.

Thanks,

numberfive, if certified to SB-676, you're good to go...

Mike
