I need to know which grade of stainless steel is compatible with METHANOL and what are the reasons .

mcguire already answered this question in his reply to your previous message (thread330-24939). All stainless steel grades are resistant to methanol, based on the stability of the oxide layer in the presence of an alchohol (methanol is methyl alcohol).
