I have a tricky stuff never solved for years.
for example, you have a cylinder cup, and a basketball.
you have the axis for both cylinder cup and the ball.
now you need to mate their axis first, then secondly, put the cup edge (circle) just 'stick' on the ball surface, then the assembly will be complete confined.
however, I was never been able to pick a round edge to 'mate' a ball surface.
Is this possible? Do I must make some 'supporting' points, line or or datums to get his 'mate' done?
Anyone have a solution would be appreciated.
