I was wondering if anyone could help me with an assignment Using this deflection eqn:

Y=(W/120*E*I*L)*((-x^5)+(2L^2*x^3)-(L^4*x))

given that W,E,I and L are known

I need to find the roots of the equation and then plot for x vs y

can anyone help?? cheers
