Does anyone have any experience with ride-on laser screeds moving placed rebar during slab-on-grade pours? I am familiar with the cantilever reach version of these laser screed machines but I am very concerned that the ATV-wheeled versions that operate over placed rebars are being displaced and pushed down during their operations on a double reinforced mat.

The online world appears to be mute on this topic...unless I'm just not looking in the correct areas.

Cheers,
FpM

I would not see the need to use a laser screed on a placement with a double mat of rebar.

Laser screeds are effective for unreinforced or lightly reinforced slabs on grade where finish tolerances are tight.
